Where are you located?
My home studio is conveniently located in South Tulsa, near 91st and Sheridan.
What are the age ranges for students?
For the safety of everyone involved and unless other arrangements are made before the start of class, all sewists under 18 will need a guardian over 18 to stay with them for the duration of their lesson. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. I have an adjacent room for you to sit and have a cup of coffee or tea while you wait. Our Mommy and Me class is available to all ages with their guardian. With the exception of Mommy and Me classes, I require all students under 18 to take our 1-hour machine basics class for an additional fee. During this time, I will assess the student’s ability to follow directions and to navigate the machine independently. Based on assessment, a guardian may be required to assist younger students with their project.
Can I bring my own machine?
You are welcome to bring your own machine; however, I provide machines for sewist’s ease and convenience.
Do you sell fabric and/or sewing supplies?
I have a limited supply of fabric and some supplies (thread, zippers, interfacing, etc) available for purchase but you are welcome to bring your own.
Is there a calendar of available class times/dates?
At this time, I am very flexible. What this means is that we have freedom to schedule when is most convenient for us both! I offer daytime, evening, and weekend classes. Once my schedule fills, I’ll add a calendar with my openings.
How do I register for a class?
The best way to register is to call, text, or email. Leave your information, including what class type you are interested in. Once your lesson is confirmed, I will send the registration form. Return the completed registration form and payment no later than 48 hours before your class time. Class registration will not be guaranteed until payment has been received. If I need to miss a class, what do I do?
I offer a convenient make-up policy. If you must miss a class, please call, text, or email as soon as possible. When convenient, confirm with me when you want to reschedule. A missed class must be rescheduled within 30 days. A No-Show with no notification will result in forfeiture of those class fees.
Do you offer group classes?
Yes! I can accommodate a class up to 4 students. Contact me and let’s set it up!
Are there animals in the studio?
I am a lover of cats. Mine freely roam the home, and the studio is located in my living room. During sewing sessions, my cats are kept in a separate room, away from sewists. My tiny fish are safely located in their aquarium in the studio.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept CashApp or PayPal.
