Mama Susan Sews offers a variety of private lesson options. I have a modest supply of fabric (up to 1 yard per project) and supplies (thread, zippers, interfacing, etc) but you are welcome to bring your own for $5 discount per project. Contact me to schedule your class!

  • Your Project, My Studio – Your project, your supplies, my machines, and my help! If you have a project you want to make but lack space or equipment, you can schedule time in my studio to create your project. I’ll be on hand for any questions. Need more help? Have a project but you don’t know where to start? I can create individualized lessons based on what you want to learn; how to read a pattern, how to sew a dress, how to make a quilt; we can sew to your hearts content, together!
    • $35 for one 2-hour session
    • Have a big project or want to make several smaller projects? Schedule ahead and save! Reserve and prepay for four 2-hour sessions for only $100.
  • 2 x 2 x 2 – Grab a bestie and choose a project! This reservation is for two sewists to complete the same project during a shared 2-hour class. Each sewist will leave with their own finished version.

      • $50 for one 2-hour session for both sewists
      • You may provide your own consumable supplies (fabric, thread, buttons, elastic, etc) for $10 discount.
      • Have a big project or want to make several smaller projects? Schedule ahead and save! Reserve and prepay for four 2-hour sessions for 2 sewists for only $175.
  • Mommy and Me – Join me for some fun and creative quality time with your little one! In this class you and your child will work to complete one project together.

      • You may provide your own consumable supplies (fabric, thread, etc) for $5 discount per project.
  • Assessment Class – A mandatory, one-time, 1-hour assessment is required for all sewists under the age of 18 before starting regular classes.
    • $20 for one 1-hour session per sewist.
    • $20 fee includes $10 in future-class-credit – get $5 off your next two classes!
